How many salt and pepper shakes have you gone through in your lifetime? More often than not I get frustrated with mine, the salt sticks to the inside (rice or no rice) and I end up purchasing something else only to have it break or be uncool sometime later.
So hopefully Pinch, a salt and pepper shaker designed by an industrial designer, can survive on my table longer than 6 months. The orb, which holds the pepper, acts as a cover to the salt which is held in the basin of the device. My only quip is that if it isn’t fresh ground pepper I’m really not interested.
The designer, Craighton Berman, is looking for funding. So feel free to pledge a dollar or ten if you can afford it.
