Engadget has a nice exclusive scoop today on Apple’s next version of their Apple TV…or the iTV, as they now proclaim it. From the same source that said the device would cost $99 and be iOS-based comes news that it will indeed run App Store Apps. Unfortunately, the source also said that it will not be capable of playing full 1080p video — 720p’s the max, due to the A4 processor the iTV is using that keeps costs down. That’s all the new info we have, but hopefully we’ll get an official announcement by the end of the year.
