Beta testers chosen to try out Microsoft’s new Fall Dashboard Update got a nice surprise today, as they were informed that they would also be beta testing the Kinect. Even with Microsoft’s bonus, and despite heavy guidelines stating that no information be leaked, there’s already a ton of screenshots and video of the new dashboard update (just know that the Kinect camera is probably watching you sleep). Among the new features are revamped avatars, which are smaller and more customizable, an updated, flatter dashboard interface, and new search options. See it for yourself below.
