Well, this is a little awesome. A group called the Indy Boys Inc. has taken a freakin’ jet engine from a warplane and stuck it on a standard schoolbus, allowing to to reach speeds of 367mph and shoot an 80-foot flame out its back. Pretty crazy. That sort of speed and power requires 150 gallons of fuel in a quarter of a mile, coming from a 42,000 horsepower jet engine that was taken from a fighter jet. This thing is a little dangerous for kids to actually ride in, but they’re still supposed to enjoy it from afar, which shouldn’t be hard.
