XM Sirius iPhone App Now Streams Audio In The Background
If you’re serious (pun intended) about your satellite radio than you’ll be pleased as a pig in poo to hear that the Sirius XM iPhone app is now offering complete compatibility with iOS 4. What does that mean? Background streaming. Open the app, choose a station and when you return to the home screen of your iPhone or switch to another app it will continue to stream. Pandora’s iPhone app has been doing this since day one of iOS 4, but then again they were a launch partner that had the opportunity to presents at the iOS 4 launch event.
