Welcome to the future of tree houses. Swedish architects have collaborated on a cool project that aims to get people back to nature by building fancy tree houses as hotel rooms in a remote area of northern Sweden. Now, you could argue that camping would also get you back to nature, but I guess this works too. At its opening on July 17th, there will be four “houses” — the Cabin, the Blue Cone, the Nest and the Mirrorcube, which all have electric heating and custom furniture. Two more called the UFO and A Room With a View will be open in October. Each will cost about $555.50 a night for two people, but it definitely is a unique experience.
