The SeaKettle Life Raft Makes You Fresh Water

SeaKettle LIfe Raft

Created for the James Dyson Award design competition, the SeaKettle Life Raft is an amazing concept for a lifesaving raft. It provides water for shipwrecked people through a unique system that captures seawater in a special Goretex container, which keeps it there until it desalinates and then distributes the drinkable water into four pockets on the raft. Which keeps you alive for a lot longer than if you had no water at all.

Thank you for sharing this great post about the SeaKettle, which is a project of an Academy of Art alum. We are very proud of Kim and all the hard work and innovation she has put into this life-saving design. More information about her project can be found at http://www.academyart.edu/news…. It would mean a lot to us if you could post a link to the news article, which also describes some of her achievements as a student at the academy.
