The Icy Dock USB 3.0 Enclosure Let’s You Swap Drives Out Easily
External enclosures aren’t the most exciting things out there — so it takes a certain something to pique my interest. With the Icy Dock, it’s a unique design that lets you easily swap 2.5-inch hard drives via a removable back hatch. The enclosure supports laptop drives at up to 750GB capacity. And, since it’s a USB 3.0 enclosure, you won’t need external power via USB 3.0, but there’s a power cable included for older devices and you can also draw said power from another port thanks to a special included USB cable.
