Sony’s new WX5 & TX9 Digital Cameras have a pretty unique new feature — shooting 3D panoramas. Users simply hold down the shutter button and the camera does the rest, taking 100 pictures rapidly and stitching them together to create a stereoscopic image. You’ll need to connect the camera via HDMI to a compatible 3D display and use glasses to view them, though. Besides that feature, these cameras packing 12.2MP sensors, a background defocus feature for DSLR-like images, and 1080i video recording.
The WX5 & TX9 are available in mid-September, with pricing currently unavailable.
