tablet computers — 13 July 2010

Last month, we reported on rumors of a BlackBerry Tablet, and today brings a scant few new details on such a device, apparently from someone “very close to the project” at RIM. They told Betanews that the tablet would most likely be 8.9-inches in size, and have two cameras, one front-facing and the other back-facing for both video chat and photos. (Note: The above image is not the tablet). This tablet would include Adobe Flash 10.1 support, possibly a slide-out keyboard and probably be running BlackBerry OS 6, which adds tablet-esque features like pinch-to-zoom. Here’s hoping we get some more concrete announcements soon.
