Microsoft’s Street Slide Project Could End Google Street View’s Reign (video)
Microsoft’s Street Slide Project looks like a better version of Google Street View, because it is. Instead of clicking again and again to get down a street, you simply hold and zoom into whatever direction you want to head in. And there’s a nice panaramic option for viewing a city block — check out the video to see for yourself. Hopefully this tech (it’s from a research project) gets implemented into Bing very soon.
