Apple Cell Phones iPhone — 13 July 2010

Be warned, iPhone 4 users — you may have to return your fancy new smartphone soon. MacRumors is reporting that Apple’s “fix” for the iPhone 4 reception issue might not be good enough for either users or a judge, so a nationwide recall is coming. The rumors are hot on the heels of Consumer Reports, one of the most respected consumer review companies ever, saying that they could not recommend the iPhone due to physical hardware issues that cause the reception drop. Apple continuing to release a hardware defective phone could be very damaging to their brand image, which is the highest in the tech industry. A decision will definitely arrive once the software update hits soon, so we’ll have to wait and see.
