So you got a new iPhone 4, but the reception issues have left you pissed (or maybe the reported screen issues, or the easily scratched back, etc.). If you decide you want to return it, Apple’s 10% restocking fee might send you over the edge. So it’s a good thing that they’ve waived the fee in lieu of all the iPhone 4 complaints. Before you give Apple a pat on the back, it looks like the restocking fee was a charge in all of those iPhone lawsuits that are popping up now, so this seems to be a nice preventative measure on Apple’s part. Works out for us customers, though.
