UPDATED. Bloomberg is reporting today that yes, really, definitely, there will be a Verizon iPhone coming in January of next year. Says who? “Two people familiar with the plans.” A reliable source, for sure. There were the rumors of a CMDA iPhone starting production in September, which gives Apple months to prep for that rumored January release. But until we get some real concrete information, us Verizon subscribers will just have to dream.

Update: It’s now official.  The iPhone 4 is available on Verizon Wireless on February 10th, 2011.
