Waterproof LED Flashlight Lets You Record Underwater

water-led-video2

Sure, we showed you the RC Plane Camera, but now we’re going the complete opposite of the sky — this waterproof LED flashlight doubles as a camcorder. It records 640 x 480 resolution videos to built-in 4GB memory with one touch recording, which can then be transferred to your computer via USB. And it lasts eight hours on a built-in rechargeable battery, so you can go explore underwater all afternoon long.

The Waterproof Flashlight DVR is available now for $193.

After reading this review, I went ahead and ordered one. Got it the other day. It is a little bigger and a little heavier than I had expected but super-easy to operate. The lack of HD video is far outweighed by the key benefit (and pure reason I bought this): The most rugged camcorder in the market. The “Toshiba Toughbook” of camcorders, if you want. No need for a protective housing here. You can literally throw this thing around, throw it in the pool, expose it to rain, saltwater, snow, dirt, it looks like it will handle it well.
