Toshiba has announced the Dynabook TX/98MBL (known as the Satellite A665 in Europe), the world’s first 3D Blu-ray laptop. Running on NVIDIA’S 3D Vision software, the 15.6-inch, 1366 x 768 resolution notebook presents 3D stereoscopic images using a pair of NVIDIA’s active shutter glasses. Other specs include a Core i7 CPU, 4GB DDR3 RAM, up to 500GB HDD, GeForce GTS 350M graphics, a Blu-ray burner, Bluetooth, 802.11n WiFi, HDMI, Ethernet, 3 USB ports, and a 1.3MP webcam. Now the question is: are you a cool enough dude to whip out your 3D glasses and watch a movie in your local Starbucks?
The Dynabook TX/98MBL hits stores in late July. Pricing is currently unavailable.
