This, my friends, is the CarPuchino, the world’s first coffee powered car. It will probably be the world’s last coffee powered car, too, since it takes about $10/mile to run. But it’s still awesome. Created by the BCC1′s Bang Goes The Theory television show, its a converted 1988 Volkswagen Scirocco that can actually get 60 mph running on half a pound of coffee per mile. And you know it must smell amazing. You have to stop every forty miles or so to reenergize it, though, just like your average worker. No word on whether its preground coffee, Dunkin Donuts or Starbucks. Or maybe they’re hip and get it from a local shop.
