Sony Ericsson Cedar Cell Phone Is Affordable Simplicity

What’s this, not a smartphone? You bet your left butt cheek it’s not. The Sony Ericsson Cedar is an almost dumbphone, but has an aesthetic, and price tag, that will appeal to a wide audience. It’s available in two colors (Black/Silver and Black/Red), and uses recycled plastics, a lower power charger, e-manual, waterborne paint and compact packaging; all part of SE’s GreenHeart initiative.
Feature wise were looking at a 2.2-inch screen, Bluetooth, FM radio, 3.5mm headphone jack, media player, 2 megapixel camera, Facebook/Twitter/etc access, 3G connectivity, a Web browser and up to 420 hours of standby time.
Price and launch? We don’t know, but we’re hearing it’s affordable.
