Gaming Playstation 3 — 15 June 2010

Sony has joined Microsoft’s ranks in offering a premium version of their free PlayStation Network service, announced today at E3. PSN Plus will set gamers back $50 a year, with online multiplayer still free for all users. That money gets you a boatload of stuff, including a new full game each month (Wipeout HD is a sign-up bonus), free DLC, gamer themes, and early access to demos and betas.
PSN+ starts later this month for $49 a year, or $18 for three months.
