RedBox Blu-ray Rentals Will Cost $1.50, Will Arrive This Summer
Did you know that Redbox owns 23% of the DVD rental market? Neither did I, but that’s the kind of figures the company is boasting for the first 3 months of 2010. That’s 24,000 machines scattered throughout the US and 9 million DVDs dispensed weekly. Now the company is set to introduce Blu-ray rentals at select kiosks over the next few months and customers should expect to pay $1.50 per rental per day.
