Official: Nintendo 3Ds

Nintendo’s 3Ds portable gaming console was finally unveiled today. As rumored, it will have 3D and won’t require the use of glasses. Nintendo has beefed up the hardware to produce almost Wii worthy graphics, at least according to some reporters on hand at today’s E3 unveiling. There’s built-in WiFi, support for previous games and two outside cameras (one inside as well) for snapping 3D pictures as well as an analog stick. The top screen, which measures 3.5-inches, is 3D but not touch sensitive and includes a slider knob to adjust the amount of 3D you’d like to experience. Lastly, the Nintendo 3Ds will be compatible with 3D movies.
Right now there is nary a word on price or launch date, but logic points to this holiday season.
