So I’ve been trying my damndest to order a new iPhone. After numerous attempts I all but gave up. That is until the Apple site told me they couldn’t complete my order and instead offered me the ability to reserve my iPhone at my local store for pick up on June 24th. All I had to do was log into my preexisting Apple account, choose my iPhone capacity and reserve. My service contract doesn’t entitle me to discounted hardware so I’ll be stuck paying the full $600, that is of course assuming I don’t sell my 3Gs.
Based on the above page it looks like I’m guaranteed one. But my gut tells me that they could sell out and I’ll be turned away.
