Gadget Rumor: DROID 2 Launch Date Delayed For Android 2.2
A new rumor emerged today saying that the DROID 2, the follow up to the DROID, will now arrive later than expected. The new launch date is expected to be August 23rd so that Verizon can launch that handset with Android 2.2 preinstalled instead of having the user upgrade down the road. We already know that the original DROID will receive the updated OS sometime in July, while according to another report the DROID X will receive it sometime in August.
