Well isn’t that a doozy.  Facetime, one of the new features found on iPhone 4, won’t use your anytime minutes, at least not for the whole call.  An unnamed Apple rep by way of Business Insider, says that your carrier minutes WILL be used to initiate the call, but once connected it switches over to data mode, effectively ‘hanging up’ the carrier call.  Since the connection shouldn’t take more than 30 seconds, one has to assume that every Facetime call, which can ONLY happen over WiFi, will cost AT&T customers 1 Anytime minute.  What do you think?  Is this a deal or a bargain?
