Speakers — 31 May 2010

As audiophiles are well aware, tube amps, whether in guitar amps or in speakers, provide a much warmer, fuller sound than those that are digitally processed. So this USB Vacuum Tube Amp Speaker definitely caught my eye. No, this thing isn’t a real tube amp — that would cost hundreds, if not thousands of dollars. But it certainly looks cool enough, and is a lot more affordable. Powered by a USB port, the tubes light up with blue LEDs as the music plays, which will look rad with the lights off. Its available in black and silver versions.
The USB Vacuum Tube Amp Speaker is available now for $52.
