Imogen Studio’s Cinema Stick HD is a really cool sounding device. The size of a thumb drive, it connects via HDMI to your TV and can play 1080p content flawlessly. Here’s how it works: one end of the stick connects to your computer via USB — you transfer video, music, and photos to the device’s 4GB internal storage (or up to 32GB microSD memory).

The other end of the stick is the mini HDMI connector to display the content on your TV, with an included remote to navigate it all. Here’s some of the formats the device supports:

MP4, MOV , AVI , DVD, Video, ASF, WMV, MKV, RM, RMVB, TS, DAT, MPG, MPEF, VOB
MPEG-1 Layer 3, WMA, WMA por, MPEG-1/2 Layer 1/2, ADPCM, AAC, OGG Vorbis, Dolby Digital AC3, Dolby Digital Plus, RA-COOK, FLAC
JPEG, BMP, GIF, PNG, TIFF
SubRipper, MicroDVD, SAMI, SubStation Alpha, Advance Substation, DVD Subtitle, DivX Subtitle

That’s pretty impressive. I can’t wait to see it in action.

Pricing and availability for the Cinema Stick HD is currently unavailable.
