Seagate Confirms 3TB Hard Drive Arriving Later This Year
Seagate has confimed that they’ll release a 3TB hard drive sometime later this year. But for those running Windows XP or an earlier OS, they’ll be unable to access the majority, if not any of the drive’s contents. The problem is a result of DOS, which essentially locks out storage arrays that have a capacity greater than 2.1TB or smaller than 512KB.
