With only 10 of these gold plated iPads ever seeing the grandiose light of day, I doubt I’ll ever see one.  Made by resident goldmember Stuart Hughes, the undisclosed GB capacity iPad will cost an insurmountable $190K each.  Beyond expensive, with probably no money going to an actual good cause, I can’t imagine anyone using this in public and feeling one bit good about themselves.

What I could see Paris Hilton toting around, it is very strikingly beautiful and at the same time exceedingly tawdry.  We’ll probably see one of these being smashed by some dirtbag teenagers on YouTube.  Fuck em’.
