Why people are so crazy about Gundam is beyond my scope of knowledge, but it might have something to do with the figurines, cartoons and whatever collectible crap they’ve rolled out over the past three decades.  As part of the 30-year anniversary Bandai has partnered with Japanese carrier Softbank to produce a Gundam inspired cell phone complete with Gunpla phone cradle.  The phone’s price has yet to be announced but it includes a 3.4-inch OLED touchscreen and a 12.1 megapixel camera.
