For some reason I still haven’t finished Fallout 3. I think part of me just doesn’t want it to end. With arrival of Fallout: New Vegas looming on the autumn horizon, I’d better get at it. Recently unveiled is the Fallout: New Vegas Special Collectors Edition and it looks pretty robust to say the very least.
Included in the set is a set of 7 poker chips found in various casinos through out New Vegas and the surrounding wastelands, a deck of playing cards that depict factions and characters from the game, a behind the scenes DVD, a withered box to hold all the stuff, and a hardcover precursor compendium covering back stories and information on the games characters and locations.
The hardcover graphic novel “All Roads” will largely be the selling point of this collectors set as it was created with the help of Dark Horse comics and written by renowned Fallout historian Chris Avellone. Sounds really cool for the Fallout enthusiast.
Pricing for the set will be at $80 for the Xbox 360 and PS3 while it will be only $70 for the PC. Not sure why that it is, will the extra money be worth all the stuff? I’m really excited for this game and am hoping it’s not like what happened with the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic series if you catch my meaning.
