The Iron Man movies will come and go, but I don’t think any one will ever forget this guys home made War Machine custom Iron Man suit. He apparently spent just $4,000 and 1 month to build it using sketches acquired off the Internet. The suit is made of high-impact urethane that is cut into plates and joined together by 1,500 rivets and washers. The helmet is constructed of a liquid resin molded from a clay helmet, while the gun is constructed of PVC piping and contains a small motor enabling it to spin. To really sell it, its designer, Anthony Le, installed a motorized faceplate that can be opened and closed by just moving is arm into the correct position.
