Talk about an extensive LEGO build!  The Stilzkin EXT3 Bridge Launcher is a real working LEGO vehicle made by Peer Kreuger.  It can pull up to any gap and drop its own bridge to get across.  The real world military has vehicles like this, but for some reason a LEGO build, which appears to be completely custom made, is far more impressive.
