Confirming rumors, Apple announced today that they’ve updated the white unibody MacBook. The CPU remains the same, a Core 2 Duo, but now starts out at 2.4 GHz from the previous 2.26Ghz. Also the same is a 250GB HDD, the glass multi-touch trackpad, and an 8X SuperDrive. But you don’t care about that, right? What’s new?

That would be the GeForce 320M. The new GPU is eighty percent faster than the GeForce 9400M, perfect for the recently launched Steam service. And since the new card is more power efficient as well, the battery life has been upped to ten hours.

The MacBook Unibody is available now for $999.
