Headphones — 16 April 2010

Through the years, I’ve bought more pairs of headphones than I can remember. In an apparent attempt to curb that problem, Sleek Audio says their new SA7 headphones will last forever. To help, they’re constructed from military-grade solid aluminum and fiber, and their drivers are encased in shock-absorbent silicone. As for the sound quality, Sleek Audio claims that an extra octave is produced from the design alone, so these things are definitely better than the ones that came with your iPod. Just make sure to clean them out every decade or so.
The SA7 is available soon for $400 in a wired configuration and for $500 wireless.
