With little to no fan fare Sony Ericsson kicked out two new Walkman phones today, the Zylo and Spiro. As you can imagine both handsets have a strong focus on music playback in addition to social networking (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, etc). The Zylo, the higher end of the two, includes an interesting feature that lets users play background sounds or music while chatting on the phone – great if you want the wifey to think you’re still at work. It also sports a 2.6-inch screen, 3.2 megapixel camera, FM radio and a microSD card slot. The Spiro, however, rocks a smaller 2.2-inch screen and a 2 megapixel camera.
Both handsets will be available in select markets sometime in the third quarter.

Grew up back East, got sick of the cold and headed West. Since I was small I have been pushing buttons - both electronic and human. With an insatiable need for tech I thought "why not start a blog focusing on technology, and use my dislikes and likes to post on gadgets."
