Nintendo 3d

The Nintendo 3DS, which we talked about awhile back from a Japanese press release, has just been confirmed by Nintendo of America’s president, Reggie Fils-Aime. The announcement came in an interview Fils-Aime gave to Businessweek, saying that the 3DS is the company’s “next handheld platform.” Remember that the 3DS is expected to offer 3D portable gameplay without the use of glasses, thanks to some fancy screen technology.

The 3DS is expected to be playable at E3 in June.
