iPhone OS 4.0 Breaking Cover On April 8th

Word just hit that Apple will hold an event on April 8th at 10am PST.  The event’s theme you ask?  iPhone OS 4.0!  About freaking time.  The location: Apple’s Infinite Loop campus in Cupertino.  Yes, it’s a bit shocking to see an event of this magnitude announced, especially after the launch of such a massive product, the iPad.

What are your predictions?  Multitasking?  How will this affect the iPad?

    I can’t wait to see what Steve Jobs has in store for us with version 4.0. Two features I’d like to see are a upgraded camera (5 MP) as well as a front facing camera enabled for video chat. The multitasking would be nice but not imperative, IMHO.
