In-flight Internet is awesome — I haven’t had the pleasure to use it yet, but killing time or getting work done on those long flights is now an infinitely more enjoyable prospect. GoGo is making news today with its introduction of a monthly subscription plan for their EVDO in-flight service. Fliers can pay $35 dollars a month for unlimited access on flights offering the Gogo service, instead of through a per-flight or 30-day basis.
The subscription is available from the airlines using Gogo, such as Delta, Virgin, and AirTran, and should transfer between separate airlines. If you travel a lot for business, it sounds like a great deal to me.
