Gadget Rumor: Nintendo 3DS Launching This October

A rumor emerged today that the Nintendo 3DS will launch sometime in October, well ahead of the previously thought date.  Unfortunately, there is no way of confirming this, but it does put Nintendo well in line for some holiday sales for 2010.

In case you forgot, the Nintendo 3DS will include a screen that will allow you to view 3D images without the use of glasses, a smart feature considering the portable nature of the device.

Expect the Nintendo 3DS on display at this year’s E3 gaming conference.

    FYI this is 100% WRONG and it is released in March of next year and is going in Canada for 299.99 and that picture is NOT even close to what the actual thing looks like.

    Hi there, thanks for the nice blog. Last two weeks ago Nintendo 3DS was being launch in the market. To be honest, I was not satisfied with the new 3DS probably because I expected much. But in anyway, I still agree that it is so far the best handheld till today. I am looking forward more games for this gadget.
