Wacom Cintiq 21UX Tablet

Grew up back East, got sick of the cold and headed West. Since I was small I have been pushing buttons - both electronic and human. With an insatiable need for tech I thought "why not start a blog focusing on technology, and use my dislikes and likes to post on gadgets."

  1. you refer to this tablet as a “Touchscreen” but this is an “Interactive pen display”.
not touchsreen at all! in fact it uses an electromagnetic resonant system to sense the position/pressure/tilting of the pen, no touch at all, if we except the touchstrips that are added gadget, not part of the display.
we (advanced user) would like to see some multitouch/gesture feature (or at least single touch) on this new Cintiq, to have a both hand interaction to improve the workflow on 2D paint and 3D modeling/sculpting.
they already have this technology on the Bamboo Pen & Touch series, i don’t understand why not implement on an interactive pen display, it would be the perfect and ultimate device.
    it’s a pity, a lost opportunity.
