We’ve been waiting for it and finally Vizio’s newest line of Internet connected LCD TVs are finally shipping. They boast not only local LED dimming, but Vizio’s Internet apps, which include access to a wide variety of websites such as Netflix, Pandora, Facebook and more.
In addition to built-in WiFi each set includes a Bluetooth remote control that slides open to reveal a full QWERTY keyboard, making navigating the webosphere all the more easy, or at least we hope so – it should making dialing up a Netflix movie all the easier, that’s for sure.
As of now Amazon is shipping the 47-inch and 55-inch version, although the larger of the two has a 3-5 week shipping window. There’s no word on when we can expect the other smaller variants of Vizio’s Internet connected sets, but since we’ve been waiting on these for almost 9 months you’d think they would hurry up already.
