Paper Jamz: Just Another Non-Instrument For The Untalented Massess

At one inch thick, Paper Jamz guitars from Wowwee don’t have any actual strings.  They use an innovative and proprietary that allows you to strum the non-existent strings to produce one of three pre-loaded licensed tracks.  Each of the available 6 guitars will have 3 modes of play:  Perfect Play (just strum along), Rhythm Mode (you control the tempo), and FreeStyle Mode (Just go crazy with the track).

I’m thinking this is going to appeal to the pre-Guitar Hero crowd or a precursor to a child actually learning an instrument.  Launching around July or August, Paper Jamz will be priced at around $25 for each guitar.  Would you buy one of these for your kid?

    The price is actually $24.99 for the guitars, $24.99 for the drums and $14.99 for the amp. Also, the product won’t be available until July/August
