Android Home Phone With 3.5-inch Display Looks Badass But Landline Only

DSP Group Android Home Phone

If landlines were still cool, this would be the phone of my choosing.  It looks like it’s a concept only, but according to the DSP Group, who has even produced a conceptual video, it runs the Android OS and integrates apps into the handset allowing you to check email, Facebook, photo sharing sites and pretty much whatever the Android architecture would support directly on the phone’s 3.5-inch display.

Inside is a ARM926EJ-S 240MHz processor, which at my best guess would make for some relatively speedy operation.   There’s even flash lite support, DECT 6 connectivity and an accelerometer for auto screen rotation.
