While the My Child ID 2.0 isn’t the type of ground breaking devices that we like to write about on GadgetReview, but it does serve what might perhaps be a life saving service. The tiny USB device works in conjunction with AmberAlert.com and stores pertinent info about your loved ones.
When inserted into your computer it prompts you to enter their stats (age, medical history, etc) and God forbid that your child is kidnapped police can access the information online or by simply being provided with the device. It also features a tiny LCD screen to provide easy and quick distribution of the child’s picture.
The My Child ID 2.0 is available now for $39.95 and includes one year of free online back up service.
