There are an endless array of spy cameras on the market, but most require a WiFi signal and a power source.  The Stealth 1 DVR camera on the other hand can accept up to a 32GB SD card and thanks to a inbuilt 17 hour battery requires absolutely no wires or wiring.  It can be set to record continuously, at a preset time or when motion is detected.  One customer review points out that the picture quality is poor in low light and who knows what the resolution is, but hey, it’s wire free.  You can grab one from Skymall for $200.
