Star Wars Phone Flashers Use The Force To Detect An Incoming Call

Star Wars Phone Flashers 620x620 Star Wars Phone Flashers Use The Force To Detect An Incoming Call

There’s no mention of how the Star Wars Phone Flashers actually work, but pfff, who cares, it’s Star Wars gear.  This little cell phone accessory attaches to any handset via a key chain like connection, and from what we can tell will begin to flash and spin when it detects an incoming call over a GSM network (doesn’t work with 3G, though).  Bluetooth would have been my preference, but that would probably drain the battery life on both devices faster than you can shoot a Womp rat.

The Star Wars Phone Flashers are each available now for $12.95 and come in Darth Vader or Storm Trooper.

Update: Looks like ThinkGeek has them for $10 and they’ve got the Yoda version.
