Well, if it ain’t yet another Lacie media player. Much like the other members of the Lacinema series, the Mini HD can connect to your homes network and stream full HD movies, music and more to your living room’s TV (or whatever set you have it hooked up to). What’s different about the Mini HD, though, is that it incorporate WiFi N and rocks what Lacie is claiming to be a DVD-sized footprint. Is that a DVD case or an actual DVD?
In any event, we can probably expect the 100th iteration of this device to roll out in 2012, but until then you can pick one up in Europe with 500GB of storage now, or in the US sometime later this quarter for $300.
BTW, Lacie also updated their USB flash drive keys.
