My plans to open up a retail store are far from reality, but in case you plan to travel down that bumpy and weary road you might want to consider the PayWare Mobile case for the iPhone.
Unlike Sqaure‘s offering, the Payware Mobile is an actual case that includes a slidable credit card reader and iPhone app. Once the card has been read the customer just needs to lay down their John (or Jane) Hancock on the phone’s touchscreen using a stylus, which may or may not be included in the package.
