Ah, the sweet evolution of gadgets.  They either get far more advanced or just smaller.  In the case of JVC’s new Everio camcorder, the GZ-HD620, it’s both.  JVC actually says it’s the world’s smallest HDD camcorder and at 270g we’d have to agree.  Aside from its built-in 120GB hard drive, which is good for up to 11 hours of full HD video, this Everio also sports a 30x optical zoom, microSD card slot (you can also record to that) and a 2.7-inch LCD.   No word on a US release date but it is said to be shipping in Japan this week for about $1,200.
