Even though I’m an inveterate geek, I still like the thought of going outdoors every so often. The big problem with outdoors, of course, is all the bugs. Mosquitoes, gnats, noseeums– whatever kind you don’t like, they’re out there.
But the boys at Uxsight have me covered, thanks to their new USB mosquito repellent device. All you have to do is plug it into an available USB port on your laptop or anything else that’s got a USB port, and let the device’s ultrasonic frequency do the rest.
I’ve seen devices like this before, and they do at least seem to work, if not a hundred percent of the time. Still, anything that keeps bloodsucking bugs off me can hardly be regarded as a bad thing. The best part is, this device retails for a measly five dollars, sixty-nine cents.
